Money and Mindfulness
This month I will be exploring the idea of getting back to the basics. Often times we overcomplicate the problem in front of us therefore making it more difficult to problem solve. I’m kicking off back to basics month with a series on mindfulness, as connecting with our breath is as basic as it comes…yet incredibly powerful!
Money and mindfulness have a complex relationship. On the one hand, having money can lead to a sense of security, which can promote a sense of calm and peace. On the other hand, when money is a source of stress and anxiety, it can be difficult to maintain mindfulness and presence. Mindfulness practices can help individuals to achieve a healthier relationship with money, allowing you to focus on your values and goals. Mindfulness practices can also help one to be more aware of how they are spending and saving their money, and to make decisions that are aligned with their values. Additionally, mindfulness can help you to develop healthier money habits, such as avoiding impulse purchases and creating a plan for their finances.
Breathwork is a type of mindfulness practice that can be used to create a connection between money and mindfulness. Breathwork can help to calm and center, become aware of your money-related thoughts and feelings, allowing you to develop more mindful approaches to money.
It is in this spirit that I am announcing an exciting collaboration with Breathwork Expert, Megan Callus! As my clients know, I love a little woo especially when it is rooted in science.
